I gave up my dream career out of what i thought was obedience with no plan B. 4 years later and I still don't feel like the Lord has made known to me what the purpose of it was. I struggle with God every day and regretting my obedience...

Three cautions: We all practically commit sins daily with our free will; the judgment is based on what we did in our earthly life, not for being Adam's descendant. (Revelation 20:12,13) That's why we need repentance for one's own sins and also faith in Jesus. The Son of God is Jesus Christ; He became a man by taking on flesh but did not become Himself. He always is who He is. And of course, we need to tell non-believers more slowly. (A very good summary here, but the Gospel is a message, not fact-points)

I appreciate this message. I too gobbled up everything I could by Christian authors about marriage and intimacy prior to marriage. Very little of it seemed to help in my relationship. There’s a danger in giving general mass market advice to individuals with very specific identities, experiences, and temperaments. I also appreciate Pastor Chandler’s humility regarding his relationship and telling on himself but also speaking to the women as well. Outstanding message.

Abortion of a healthy pregnancy is murder. This should not be up for debate.

Just remember. We’re talking about Jesus and His deciple. Still God let us know the characteristics of a true friend when it comes to deciple to deciple. There are deceiving friends out there and we need to be equipped to know this things.

The dude simply said to look at the “light” of blm. That means even if the “light” is a lie. Expose it and help others see it. Show them the truth (stats) as you have seen the stats. That means you actually have to find a way to minister to them. Find a way to relate to them to open that communication. The problem is the narrative they have. Change their narrative by showing them a different story then what entertainment and news true to tell them. I know this because I was almost apart of that narrative as well. The narrative that told me all whites were against me. Then two young but older white men ministered to my life as I was a young adult. Yes I saw Christ in them, but I also noticed they were white.

My favorite Jurassic Park response quote, when Hammond tries to rationalize the breakdown of the park similar to Disneyland: “But John, when Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists” Trying to put Christian belief in the same camp as belief in science, agnosticism, even other faiths of living like Buddhism and Taoism is absolute intellectual dishonesty and gaslighting. Not because some beliefs are about the supernatural, or science, or believing in nothing… this is incidental. It’s the fact that none of these other beliefs dictate that non believers are tortured consciously for eternity. Not only that, other beliefs universally believe that such a belief is absolute repugnance and does not deserve equal respect. The fact is that nobody would believe this horror on their own, as their conscience rejects it. However, Christians had to abandon their conscience with their vile belief and rationalize why their non believing but kind friends/family actually deserve hell. It takes a special kind of psychopathy to belief. So no, Christians are Jurassic Park, others are Disneyland. And if you go into stupid whataboutism with Islam, that strikes as Jeffrey Dalmer striking back at the assertion of being evil by saying there were other serial killers out there too also murdering and eating their victims… uh, good point, I guess we need to catch them too.
